OBIT GUZI, PATRICIA ANNE
GUZI, Patricia Anne, 76, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, February 23, 1993. She was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, John M. Guzi; sons, John M. Guzi Jr. and Gerald Paul Guzi and very close friend, Lou Ann Baldwin, all of Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. Guzi and Kathleen Guzi of Goodview; daughters and son-in-law, Mary Anne and John Mercer and Rose Marie Guzi, all of Roanoke; grandchildren, Matthew Guzi of Winston-Salem, N.C., Katherine and Clay Guzi both of Hickory, N.C., Amy, Sarah and Sean Mercer of Roanoke, Patrick and Moira Guzi of Goodview; sisters, Mary Barton of Dallas, Texas, Jane Schwartz of Salem. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church 7 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Kenneth Stofft officiating. Entombment will follow on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Andrews Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. A prayer vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's South Chapel.
