OBIT HAYNES, WILLIE ("BILL") HAMPTON

HAYNES, Willie ("Bill") Hampton, 83, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, February 23, 1993. He was a member of Ghent Grace Brethren Church and a member of Kazim Temple and Masonic Lodge #190 AF&AM. Surviving are his wife, Elsie H. Haynes; two sons and daughter-in-law, Barry and Harriet Haynes, Bethesda, Md.; and Ricky Hanes, Vinton; three sisters, Viola Williamson, W.Va., Evelyn Rolfe, Steubenville, Ohio, Ruby Igelski, Grand Rapids, Mich.; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel, 2 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 1993, with Pastor Danny Wright officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
