OBIT STANLEY, CONNIE

STANLEY, Connie, 60, of Meadows of Dan passed away Monday, February 22, 1993 in Twin County Community Hospital. He was born September 8, 1932 in Floyd County, a son of the late William Jackson Stanley and Sallie Jane Nester Stanley. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Gillenwalters Stanley; a daughter, Shelia Belcher, Meadows of Dan; sons, Connie Stanley Jr., Laurel Fork, Kenneth Lee Stanley, Meadows of Dan, James Russell Stanley, Laurel Fork; two sisters, Magadline Webb, Octavia Cox; two brothers, Wise Stanley, Isaac Stanley, all of Laurel Fork. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 1993 at the Tory Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J. C. Willard and Rev. Nathan Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Shade Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
