3-PART SEMINAR AT TECH LOOKS AT TRAINING FUTURE PROFESSORS

The research division of Virginia Tech is offering a three-part seminar, "Training the Future Professoriate."

Graduate students, new faculty and the public are invited. Seminars will be in the Litton-Reaves auditorium March 24 and 31 and April 7. Coffee will be served at 4 p.m., with the seminars beginning at 4:15.

On March 24, James F. Wolfe, vice provost for academic affairs, will discuss the promotion and tenure process.

On March 31, Barbara Carlisle, associate professor of theater arts, will talk about research topics for the arts and finding funding.

On April 7, Paula Brownlee, president of the Association of American Colleges, will talk about opportunities for faculty members at small colleges.
