DON'T JUDGE ALL PREACHERS BY A FEW

ONCE AGAIN, headlines have given the world a distorted look at so-called men of God. Woe to these men who hide behind the pulpit to have their egos fed. They are deceitful, cunning and can fool the best of us.

Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Baker, Elwood Gallimore and others like them are not men of God but of the devil. Please don't judge all by them. They are to be pitied for they will be held accountable by one who cannot be fooled or tricked. My heart aches for their wives and congregations for they have been brainwashed. These men need to be removed from the pulpits of our land.

What can be done? Guard your pulpits carefully for there are many wolves in sheep's clothing. Congregations need to run these men out of town for there is no truth to them. Do not judge all preachers according to these few, but pray that God will continue to expose them. JENNIFER MORGAN ROANOKE
