OBIT-MOSER, ALFRED GARLAND
MOSER, Alfred Garland, 75, of Roanoke, died Thursday, February 25, 1993. He
was a retired employee of Norfolk & Western Railway, was a brakeman on the
Norfolk Division with 34 years of service. He served in the Merchants Marines
during World War II in the Atlantic, the Pacific and in the Mediterranean War
Zones. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys D. Moser; one daughter and
son-in-law, Garlene and David Bocock, Roanoke; granddaughter and husband, Tina
and Steve Cunningham, Roanoke; one grandson, David Bocock II and his fiancee,
Dawn Hilderbrand, Roanoke; two sisters, Miss Larkie Moser, Roanoke, and Mrs.
Lena Scott, Vinton; a niece, Mrs. Frances Battle, Norfolk. Funeral services
will be conducted at the graveside, Cedar Lawn Memorial Park 1 p.m. Saturday,
February 27, with the Rev. Aaron Rummage officiating. Friends may call Oakey's
North Chapel after 11 a.m. Friday.
