OBIT-MYERS, ROBERT EUGENE

MYERS, Robert Eugene, 68, of Applewoods Estate, Daleville, died Wednesday, February 24, 1993, at the Alleghany Regional Hospital. He was born in Botetourt County on November 11, 1924, son of the late Frank C. Myers Sr. and Daisy Deisher Myers. He was a retired clerk for CSX Transportation and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Hostetter Myers, Daleville; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Pamela) Claterbaugh, Wesgate, Clifton Forge; a sister, Mrs. Marion M. Collins; three brothers, John Myers, Thomas Myers and Frank Myers, all of Eagle Rock; two grandsons, Robert and John Claterbaugh; two nieces. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with Dr. William O. Moore and the Rev. Robert W. Smith Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, or any time at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Richard Claterbaugh, 3rd & Commonwealth, Wesgate, Clifton Forge.
