OBIT-WEBB, MAE ALDERMAN

WEBB, Mae Alderman, 79, of Hillsville, passed away Thursday, February 25, 1993 at Twin County Community Hospital. She was born March 4, 1913 at Carroll County, Virginia, a daughter of the late George W. Alderman and Nancy Martin Alderman. She is survived by her husband, George Mason Webb; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph A. (Iris) Magruder, Martinsville; one son, Mr. Donald M. Webb, Chattanooga, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Mae Magruder, Joseph A. Magruder III, and Timothy Brian Webb; three sisters, Pearl Alderman, Richmond, Vera Webb and Hannah Alderman, both of Hillsville; one brother, John Alderman, Hillsville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 1993 at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Elder Charles Goins and Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial in the Alderman Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, Va.
