TECH INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

International Women's Day will be held Wednesday at Cranwell International Center on the Virginia Tech Campus.

It features cultural exhibitions, storytelling demonstrations, a luncheon and a panel discussion.

Events will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

\ 10 a.m.-noon:\ Women from five countries will share traditional stories.

\ Noon-1 p.m.:\ Lunch of vegetarian soup and breads from around the world.

\ 1-2 p.m.:\ Panel discussion, "The Balancing Act: Cultural Considerations." The discussion will focus on the various roles women play. Panelists are Irma Silva-Barbeau, Ranjana Chachra, Laetitia Enyong, Sharon Dean and Kathy Engstrom, facilitator.

Free child care will be available at Cranwell International Center.
