OWENS, Elva Mae, 71, of 1175 Murray Street, Christiansburg, died suddenly Thursday, February 25, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Junior Lee Owens; a daughter, Margaret Nelson, Christiansburg; one grandson, Kenneth Lee Nelson, Christiansburg; six sisters, Pauline Barker, Mary Lynch, Hazel Hartsock, all of Salem, Madeline Owens, Cloe, Mich., Edith Lilly, Flint, Mich., Ethel Falassi, Thousand Psalms, Calif., Marie Alderman, Martinsville; three brothers, James Ashworth, Charles Ashworth, both of Christiansburg, Robert Ashworth, King, N.C. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Richard H. Horne, with burial in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 1 until 4 Sunday afternoon only at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
