OBIT CHAMBERS, MARVIN EDGAR

CHAMBERS, Marvin Edgar, 65, of Bristol, died Thursday, February 25, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice H. Chambers of Bristol; two sons, Roy E. Chambers of Fincastle, Marvin E. Chambers Jr. of Blue Ridge; three daughters, Nancy Roberts of Salem, Judith Garrett of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Ann E. Ford of Ashland, Va.; one brother, Dewey Kerns of Ashburn, Ga.; one sister, Sue Ashcraft of Warren, Ohio; and ten grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 1, 1993, at 11 a.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Frederick E. Taylor Sr. and the Rev. William F. Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in the Godwin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer society.
