OBIT WHEELER, NANCY STCLAIR

WHEELER, Nancy StClair, 85, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, February 26, 1993. She was a member of Edgewood Christian Church and was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Aldine Howell and Cynthia Anna StClair and a brother, Spurgeon StClair.. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Jean Cross and James L. Cross Jr.; granddaughter, Cynthia Gail Cross; grandson, James L. Cross III; one sister, Josephine StClair Dean; sister-in-law, Inez StClair; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 2 p.m. Monday, March 1 with the Rev. Larry D. Atkin officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
