Glenette Charles Reed and Maurice Galen Kingery would like to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Ms. Reed is the daughter of Mrs. Helen Balthis and the late Mr. Frank W. Balthis. She is also the daughter of the late Hassell Charles, and is employed with BellSouth Communication Systems, Inc.

Mr. Kingery is the son of Mr. Lonza (Sonny) Kingery and the late Mrs. Carol Kingery, and is employed with Valley Wheel & Parts, Inc.

An August wedding is planned.
