Mr. and Mrs. William L. Rollins, Jr.of Bethel, N.C. and Dr. and Mrs. William D. Poe of Roanoke, announce theengagement of their children, MissMartha Rollins and Mr. Thomas Simmons Poe.

Miss Rollins, a graduate of NorthCarolina State University, with aBiochemistry degree, is employed by the NCSU Department of Genetics. Mr. Poe, a graduate of NCSU with a Masters Civil Engineering degree, is employed by the North Carolina Department of Health, Environment and Human Resources,Division of Environment Management.

The wedding is planned for May 15 at the West Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, N.C.
