Tammy Earline Smith and Kevin Scott Palmer are engaged and planning to be married June 26, 1993, in Shawsville. She is a daughter of Rev. John and Mrs. Earline Smith. She graduated from Shawsville High School and plans on attending New River Community College to further her education in Nursing after the wedding. She is employed by Meadowbrook Nursing Home. He is a son of Phyllis Palmer, of Riner. He graduated from Auburn High School and is attending New River Community College. He is employed by Shoney's Restaurant.
