Christa Dawn Thomas of Riner and Brian James Phillips of Christiansburg are pleased to announce their engagement. Christa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Thomas of Riner. She is a graduate of Auburn High School, and will graduate with a degree in economics from Radford University in May. Brian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Dean Phillips of Christiansburg. He is a graduate of Auburn High School, and has recently graduated with an associate degree in police science from New River Community College. The wedding is planned for May 22, 1993, at Main Street Baptist Church in Christiansburg.
