Melanie Sue Haden and Douglas Scott Colley were married Feb. 20, 1993 at
7:00 pm in the Va. Tech War Memorial Chapel by Rev. Pete DuPlessis. The
reception was held at Holiday Inn, Blacksburg. The maid of honor was Heather
Bulson. The bridesmaids were Hien Nquyan, Erica Kirkner, Nicole Cromer,
Melissa Weeks, Kristal Fulcher and Michelle Haden. Flowergirls were Danielle
and Shaylin Snair. The best man was James White. The ushers were Joe Colley,
Rodney Jessie, Todd Handy and Mark Haden. The guestbook was attended by Regena
Handy. The bride is a daughter of Rudolph Haden of Woolwine, Va. and Kathy
Haden of Christiansburg. She is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and
attends Radford University. The bride is employed by Wades Supermarkets. The
bridegroom, son of L. P. Colley of Christiansburg and the late Nancy Colley,
is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and serves in the United States
Navy. The newlyweds will live in Christiansburg.
