Gina Katherine Hornbarger andRobert W. Phipps, Jr. were marriedSaturday, February 27, 1993, in Mechanicsville, Virginia, at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, by the ReverendJoseph Carson. The reception was held at Burkwood Recreation Clubhouse in Mechanicsville. Mrs. Tambara H. Driscoll, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor, and Miss Mary C. Harrison, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Beth Cuzzone, Donna Sparagna, Melanie Moore, and Patricia Carr. Robert W. Phipps, Sr., the groom's father, was his best man. The ushers were Scott Hornbarger, Cliff Stone, ScottWooddy, Scott Lafoon, Jeff Phipps, and Craig Martin. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Hornbarger of Richmond. The groom is the son of Mrs. Linda Wooddy and Mr. Robert W. Phipps, Sr., both of Mechanicsville, Virginia. The bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dalton of New River, and Mrs. Sylvia Barber of Abingdon, and the bride's great-uncle, Mr. Ronald M. Hornbarger of Christiansburg, traveled to Richmond to attend the wedding. The newlyweds will live in Mechanicsville, Va.
