POINDEXTER-AL-FAKS

Maha A. Al-Faks and Todd W.Poindexter were united as one in Christ, November 28, 1992, in Vienna Baptist Church, Vienna, Virginia. Rev. Jack Price, Rev. Sparky Pritchard, and Rev. Esper Ajaj were the officiating ministers. The couple repeated their vows in English and Arabic. A dinner reception was held at the Holiday Inn, Fair Oaks.

Maid of honor was Soha Al-Faks, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Katie Harris, Deb Kauffman, and Cathy Iyamu. Best man was Eric Poindexter, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Boulos Al-Faks, brother of the bride, Clint Kauffman, and Chuck Saliba.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allenbi Al-Faks, of Richmond. She is a Pharm. D graduate of the Medical College of Virginia.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Poindexter, of Boones Mill. He will graduate in May from the Medical College of Virginia and will start a residency in Family Practice at Andrews Air Force Base. The newlyweds are currently residing in Richmond.
