SITZE-HAMBLETT
Kerri Anne Hamblett and Jeffery Allen Sitze were married February 27, 1993, in First Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Fuller officiating. The reception was held at Phelps Hall. The matron of honor was Melanie B. Smith of Cheraw, S. C. The maid of honor was Anne M. Ringler of Kill Devil Hills, N. C. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth V. Fields of Salem, Va., Renee H. Abshire of Salem, Va., and Bryanne K. Hamblett of Vinton, Va., sister of bride. Flowergirl was Sarah E. Hodges of Salem, Va. Jon D. Merritt of Peekskill, N. Y., served as best man. Ushers included Michael D. Sitze and Colin D. Sitze, brothers of the groom, of Roanoke, Va.; Steve L. Smith of Cheraw, S. C.; and James R. Pardue, Jr., of Roanoke, Va., cousin of bride. Ringbearer was Adam V. Reed of Roanoke, Va. Candlelighters were Michael D. Sitze and Colin D. Sitze. Guestbook was attended by Tammy M. Hamblett and Christopher R. Taylor, cousins of bride.The bride wore an ivory taffeta gown accented with Alencon lace and she carried a bouquet of white roses and orchids. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip R. Bolen of Roanoke, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Victor L. Hamblett of Vinton, Va. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and attended Longwood College in Farmville, Va. She will be continuing her RN studies at USC. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Sitze of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from William Fleming High School. He is employed by Beech Aerospace Services, Inc. After a wedding trip to Charleston, S. C., the newlyweds will make their home in Beaufort, S. C. Photography by Jim Markey.
