REVO RUNNING FANS AWAY
I could not believe my eyes when I read the newspaper Feb. 4, when owner Larry Revo told a news reporter that the hockey fans should not pay $7 to come to the game Thursday night. For Revo to make a statement like that has to be very stupid and shows no respect for his coach and the players.
In the first of the season 2,200-2,500 fans were coming to the games. If Revo would have come out and thanked the fans for coming to the games instead of threatening the fans that he was going to move the team out of town, he would have more people coming to the games. Revo's big mouth ran off about 1,200 fans this season.
I hope Revo will leave the Roanoke Valley. He has destroyed hockey this season.
Henry Brabham is a credit to hockey.
