HOLSTON RIVER BRIDGE WILL UNDERGO REPAIRS

Temporary traffic signals will be installed for one-lane traffic across the Virginia 107 bridge over the Middle Fork of the Holston River during bridge repairs.

Flash signals will be operational by March 12 and full signals by March 16 when Overlay Inc. of Mitchellsburg, Ky., will start work on the $129,168 project.

The bridge is near the exit 35 interchange off Interstate 81 in Smyth County. Completion is scheduled by early June.
