OBIT WALLS, EMILY DAVIS

WALLS, Emily Davis, of Roanoke, died at her home, Friday, February 26, 1993. She was an active member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church and a member of Roanoke County Woman's Club. She was predeceased by her son, Jack A. Walls, and was the widow of James BurkeWalls. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Doris T. Walls, Roanoke; two grandchildren, James A. Walls and wife, Patricia of Salem, Jayne W. Ashe and husband, J. Rick of Newport News; two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Walls and Danielle Ashe; two sisters, Hazel Davis, Eustis, Fla., and Mildred Poff, Tavares, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 1993 with the Rev. Bradford L. Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. If friends prefer, memorials may be made to Huntington Court United Methodist Church. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
