OBIT COOPER, ALLIE B.

COOPER, Allie B., 78, of Rt. 1, Callaway, died Friday, February 26, 1993, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Harriett Cooper; two brothers, Dan and Noel Cooper and a sister, Anne Mountcastle. Surviving are five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Maude Sloan and Mattie Woods, both of Ferrum, Betty Hale of Bassett, Jessie and Hank Cash, Alexandria, and Hettie and Paul Radford of Ferrum; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 1, 1993, at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Tilley officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
