PTA REFLECTIONS CONTEST WINNERS from Roanoke public schools have been announced for 1992-93. The Reflections contest encourages creative expression in literature, music, photography and visual arts. \ ALL EIGHT SEMIFINALISTS from the Roanoke Valley have advanced to finalist status in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The students, who represent about one-half of 1 percent of high school seniors nationally, are being considered for National Merit Scholarships to be announced later this month.
They are: Andrea M. Barnes and Catherine M. Obenshain of Cave Spring High School, Ann Clinton Bunger and Elizabeth Jane Maxwell of Patrick Henry High School, Jeffrey Stephen Ford of Craig County High School, Nathanael Kent Gay of Roanoke Valley Christian Schools, Rebecca Ivey of William Byrd High School and Eric Starkloff of Glenvar High School.
