AFTER-PROM PARTY PLANNED IN PULASKI
Parents of juniors and seniors at Pulaski County High School are planning an all-night alcohol- and drug-free celebration at the Pulaski YMCA following the May 8 prom.They are seeking contributions from businesses and individuals to help pay for the activity. A small admission also will be charged.
The after-prom celebration will run from 11:30 p.m. to 6 the following morning. All seniors and juniors from the school and their guests are invited, even if they do not go to the prom.
It will have a "Tropical Luau" theme and a master of ceremonies, dancing, swimming, games, videos, contests with prizes and other attractions.
Food will be served throughout the night, ending with a continental breakfast of juice, doughnuts, pastries and fruit.
The only requirements for those attending is that no alcohol or drug use is allowed, all students must arrive by 1 a.m. and not return once they leave, and students must be present to win prizes.
