WRESTLERS TO GO TO REGIONALS IN MD.

Four wrestlers from the Christiansburg Wrestling Club placed in the Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Association Virginia Preliminary District Tournament and thus qualified for the Southern Regionals in Salisbury, Md., Saturday and Sunday.

Preston Hall won the gold medal in the 62-pound division and John DeRosset won the silver medal in the 90-pound class. Scottie Brubek and Zack Johnson took bronze medals in the 110- and 105-pound divisions respectively.

Jay Ware placed fourth in his weight class, missing the cut for the Southern Regional by one place.
