OBIT TURNER, LEONARD JEFFERSON

TURNER, Leonard Jefferson, 84, of Stuart, died Tuesday, March 30, 1993, in the Elder Care Nursing Center in Rocky Mount. He is survived by his wife, Ethel F. Turner, Route 2, Stuart; two daughters, Miss Myrtle Turner, Stuart, Mrs. Nancy Wagoner, Rocky Mount; two sons, George and James Turner, both of Stuart, Va.; five sisters, Geraldine Goad, Thurmont, Maryland, Mrs. Pattie Weeks, Sanford, Fla., Mrs. Evelyn Turner, Bassett, Mrs. Bertie Ingram, Rocky Mount, Mrs. Lessie Pennington, Richmond, Va.; five grandchildren. The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday, at the Union Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the Turner Family Cemetery. The family will be at the Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Thursday night from 7 to 8:30.
