IN SCHOOL

Jennifer Webber, a senior at Patrick Henry High School, has been selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship through the Horatio Alger National Scholars Program.

Only one school is picked from each state to participate.

Webber, who also will attend the National Scholars Conference in April in Washington, D.C., was chosen for her tenacity, motivation and commitment to being her best.
