VMI SPORTS WEEKEND POSTPONED BY WEATHER

The VMI Keydet Club Spring Sports Weekend scheduled for Saturday has been postponed until April 17 because of weather and poor field conditions. There will be a luncheon and cookout as well as athletic competition in baseball, tennis and a football scrimmage. Contact the Keydet Club office at (800) 444-1839 for information.

New River Valley Speedway fans will get a sneak preview of the 1993 racing season when new cars will be on display Saturday in the Christiansburg K-Mart parking lot on Route 460. Approximately 25 cars from the track's five divisions will be on display from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. There is no charge for the show and the public is invited.
