SMYTH HOSPITAL PLANS LABOR-UNIT OPEN HOUSE

Smyth County Community Hospital will hold an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday for its new Family Birthing Center.

The labor and delivery unit has had an $87,000 face-lift as well as a name change. It is located on the hospital's second-floor west wing.
