JAMES MADISON RAISES TUITION FOR NEXT YEAR
James Madison University on Friday raised tuition for the 1993-94 school year.For in-state students, tuition will increase 6.2 percent to $3,798; for out-of-state students, tuition will increase 5.7 percent to $7,650.
In-state graduate tuition will rise from $116 per credit hour to $123 per credit hour; out-of-state tuition will rise from $316 to $336 per credit hour.
The fee increases are part of a $120.9 million operating budget for next year. The budget is 5.5 percent larger than the 1992-93 spending plan of $114.6 million. - Associated Press
