BYRD JUNIOR'S DEATH AN APPARENT SUICIDE
A 17-year-old Roanoke County teen died Thursday of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Scott Erin Tobey was a junior at William Byrd High School.
Dr. William Massello, assistant deputy chief medical examiner for Western Virginia, said the teen-ager died at his home from a small-caliber gunshot wound to the head.
