OBIT CHATMAN, MARGUERITE B.

CHATMAN, Marguerite B., of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, April 1, 1993. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Sidney's. Mrs. Chatman was the widow of Vance A. Chatman. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Leon A. and Frances T. Chatman, Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Dathnea C. and Eldridge ("Buddy") Sink, Charlotte, N.C.; three grandsons and their wives, Daniel R. Chatman and wife, Sheila, Manassas, Ridge M. Sink and wife, Cindy, Jacksonville, Fla., John V. Chatman and wife, Susan, Walkertown, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Cortney, Clinton, Lyndsey, and Coady Chatman, Meghan and Travis Sink; two sisters, Florence Shumate, Radford, Ruth McDowell, Roanoke; one brother, Andrew Bradley, Narrows; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 5, 1993 with the Rev. Kelly Dampeer officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
