OBIT STAPLETON, JULIA ELSIE

STAPLETON, Julia Elsie, 98, of Roanoke, died April 1, 1993. She was the widow of Charles W. Stapleton and was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Miriam S. and Andrew M. Harvey Jr.; one sister, Mrs. Louise Johnson; one granddaughter, Julia Harvey Sellers; one grandson, Andrew M. Harvey III, all of Roanoke; four great-granddaughters, a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted in Evergreen Burial Park at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Linda S. Mitchell will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
