OBIT HAGOOD, GERTRUDE HOLLAND

HAGOOD, Gertrude Holland, 93, of Glade Hill, died Friday, April 2, 1993, in Franklin Healthcare Center. Mrs. Hagood was the daughter of the late Telemicus (Tim) Holland and the late Julia (Fannie) Hutts Holland, and was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Lemly Hagood. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Elmer and Frances Hagood, Ridgeway; four grandchildren, Elmer Hagood Jr., Spencer, Rocky Hagood, Ridgeway, Rita Joiner, Rock Hill, S.C., and Peggy Hewitt, High Point, N.C.; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 1993, at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
