OBIT CUPP, BERTHA LUCKADO

CUPP, Bertha Luckado, 74, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, April 1, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mrs. Cupp was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on May 30, 1918, to the late George and Mamie Williams Luckado. Surviving are her husband, Russell Cupp; three sisters, Martha Graves, Christiansburg, Dorothy Thrope, Shawsville, Louise Hawks, Christiansburg; one half brother, Jack Sawyer, Radford. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Homer D. Sawyer will officiate. Interment will follow in North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
