OBIT ROBERTS, NELLIE PAULINE

ROBERTS, Nellie Pauline, 62, of Christiansburg, died Thursday, April 1, 1993. She departed this life going to her Heavenly home from her earthly home. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 42 years, James N. Roberts; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Cheryl Roberts, Danny and Tammy Roberts, Timmy and Janet Roberts, Larry and future wife, Hope Nickols; daughters and sons-in-law, Donah and Larry Sutherland, Diane and Dennis Rakes, Norma Roberts-Loving and Richard Loving; 18 grandchildren, Angie, Travis, Tracie, Charlie, Cory, Carrie, Jimmy, Kurt, Christy, Amanda, Tabatha, Page, Chris, Robby, Danielle, Ashley, Missy, Brent, and great-granddaughter, Kathryn; five brothers, Erskine Wells, James Wells, Billy Wells, Bobby Wells, David Wells; five sisters, Mary Chandler, Dot Oliver, Edna Worrell, Eleanor Young, Marie Caldwell. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, from the Riverview Holiness Church conducted by Rev. Ellis Meredith, Mr. Clyde East and Mr. Henderson Woods. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The body has been placed in the Riverview Holiness Church of which she was a loyal and devoted member for 37 years, where friends may call up until funeral time. The family would like to express their gratitude to everyone who sent cards, food, flowers and most of all prayers, during her illness and after her departure. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Rehabilitation Center of Roanoke, Home Health Care Plus and to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad. May God richly bless you all. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
