OBIT EDMONDS, JOANNE

EDMONDS, Joanne, 54, of Charlottesville, and formerly of Dugspur, passed away April 1, 1993, at Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville. She was born October 5, 1938 in Carroll County to Asa O. Quesenberry and Alma Simpkins Quesenberry. She is survived by her husband, Roy G. Edmonds; sons, Ricky Dean Edmonds, Charlottesville, Randy Edmonds, Newport News; mother, Alma V. Quesenberry, Floyd; sisters, Lessie Cox, Willis, Gardie Roop, Dugspur, Verna Long, Blacksburg, Aretta Peters, Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Stanley Quesenberry, Dugspur, Vivan Quesenberry, Salem, Melvin Quesenberry, Hillsville, Russell Quesenberry, Salem; grandson, Micholas Edmonds, Newport News. Mrs. Edmonds was preceded in death by her father, Asa O. Quesenberry; a brother, Nelson Quesenberry. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 5, 1993, at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville with the Rev. J. Alfred Pinkerton officiating. Burial in the Surratt Cemetery, Carroll County. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 1993 at the funeral home.
