NAMES ON CAMPUS

JASON BOOTH ROBBINS, son of Jann James of Radford, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 1992 semester at Vanderbilt University. He is an engineering student.

\ SCOTT EDWARD HABEEB of Christiansburg was on the dean's list for the fall 1992 semester at Wake Forest University. Habeeb is a freshman.

\ KIM MATTOX, daughter of James and Nancy Mattox of Christiansburg, has been selected as a Lees-McRee College student ambassador. Ambassadors are liaisons between prospective students and the Banner Elk, N.C., college and must be nominated by the faculty. Mattox is a freshman.

\ KATIE BRANN of Christiansburg has had a solid first year with the Emory & Henry College women's basketball team. Brann, a 5-foot-6 guard, has seen action in all of the Wasps' games, averaging 1.1 points, 1 assist and 0.7 steals per contest.

Six New River Valley students have received Joseph E. Hurn Scholarships of up to $750 each to National Business College: LAURIE CONNER, DEBORA DAVIS, TRACI KIRK and BONNIE TAWNEY, all of Christiansburg; DELORES SLOSS of Blacksburg and ANGELA DENISE TALLANT of Radford.

\ DANIEL KRANOWSKI, a Dartmouth College sophomore from Blacksburg, is studying French in Lyons, France, this winter as part of the college's foreign study program. Kranowski is the son of Nathan and Muriel Kranowski.

\ DANIEL GEORGE CONWAY of Blacksburg has received a doctor of philosophy degree from Indiana University in Bloomington.
