DYER-TOMPKINS

Catherine Ann Tompkins and Keith Andrew Dyer were married April 3, 1993 in First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. The reception was held at the Patrick Henry Hotel.

The bride was escorted by her brothers, John Tompkins of Alexandria and Phillip Tompkins of Roanoke.

Miss Diana Kost of Chantilly, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Wendy Brafman of Columbia, S.C.;Melanie Macklin of Falls Church; and Christine Plath of Alexandria. All friends of the bride.

Mr. Christopher Graff of Harrisburg, Pa., was the best man. Ushers wereTimothy Cunningham of Richmond;Richard Lennon of Alexandria; andAshton Lough of Roanoke. They are all friends of the groom.

Scripture readers were KathyLaMotte of Roanoke; and ElizabethPhoebus of Timonium, Md. The guestbookwas attended by Angelique Adams of Roanoke.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs.Margaret Tompkins of Roanoke and Mr. Harvey Tompkins of Alexandria. Sheattended the University of Virginia, andhas been employed by The AtlanticMutual Companies in Roanoke. She is planning to pursue her undergraduatedegree.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Rebecca Dyer and Mr. James Dyer, both of Roanoke. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and is employed by Overnite Transportation Company as a Management Trainee in Miami, Florida.

Following a wedding trip the couple will reside in Miami.
