MCCLUNG-SCHIRMER

Amy Lynn Schirmer and TimothyAllen McClung were united in marriage on April 3, 1993 at First Baptist Church, Downtown Roanoke. Dr. Charles Fuller and Rev. Charles Ward were theofficiating clergy. The reception was held in the atrium of First Baptist.

Andrea Schirmer, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Staci Treadway, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Elisabeth Bishop, friend of the bride; Laura Savinda, friend of the bride; and AngelaMcCutcheon, sister of the groom. Jennifer Treadway, niece of the bride, was the flowergirl. Rob Bennett, friend of the groom, served as best man. Thegroomsmen were Gary Luther, friend of the groom; Shane McClung, brother of the groom; Tim Peters, friend of the groom; and Andre Treadway, brother-in-lawof the bride. Mark Keith, friendof the groom; and Rob McCutcheon,brother-in-law of the groom; served as ushers and candlelighters. Clark Sprinkle, friend of the bride and groom, was the ringbearer.

Amy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.H. A. Schirmer of Roanoke. She is a 1986 graduate of Salem High School and a 1990 graduate of Wake Forest University.Timothy is the son of Mr. and Mrs.Kennith McClung of Covington. He is a 1985 graduate of Alleghany High School and a 1990 graduate of Virginia Tech. Both bride and groom are employed by Alleghany Highlands Public SchoolSystem.

They will make their home inCovington, Virginia after a wedding trip to the Poconos.
