ENGLISH ANNIVERSARY

Norman and Corinna English celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 27th. The celebration was held at Trinity United Methodist Church and was hosted by their son and daughter-in-law. The couple was married April 6th in Roanoke, Va., by Rev. Allen. The have lived in Roanoke for 47 years. She is the former Corinna Martin. Their children are son, Norman Lee English, and daughter-in-law, Wanda English, Roanoke, Va., and daughter, Judith E. Lowe, and son-in-law, Michael Lowe, Houston, Texas. Mr. English is retired from J.M. Blair Co. and Mrs. English is retired from Roanoke City School Board. They belong to the Pythians, DOKK, Belmont Christian Church, Trinity United Methodist Church.
