OBIT BARLOW, EDGAR HOWARD

BARLOW, Edgar Howard ("Fly"), 43, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 1993. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junius and Gladys Barlow; and two brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Tonya B. Price and Betty L. Harris, and one son, Travis J. Harris, all of Roanoke; three sisters, Frances (Harvey) Aims of Shackleford, Va., Sandra (Melvin) Reed of Manisfield, Ohio, Sara Powell of Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Marie Barlow and Patunia Barlow; one grandson; his stepmother, Dorothy Barlow, Norfolk, Va.; three stepsisters including Rachel Lynch; one stepbrother; two uncles; a devoted companion, Jackie Johnson of Roanoke; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday in the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Antonio D. Thomas officiating, being assisted by the Rev. Marvin Fields. Interment will follow in Williams Memorial Park.
