OBIT SMITH, EDMON
SMITH, Edmon, 72, of Christiansburg, died Saturday morning, April 3, 1993, in the VA Medical Center in Salem. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jack Quesenberry, Sharon and Freddie Griffith, all of Christiansburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Linda Smith of Elliston, Roger and Barbara Smith of South Boston, Billy and Shirley Smith of Kansas; a brother, Furman Smith, Hampton; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Richard H. Horne. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home, with no evening visitation. Arrangements by Richardson-Horne.
