OBIT GIBSON, HESTER VIRGINIA

GIBSON, Hester Virginia, 83, of Roanoke, died Saturday, April 3, 1993. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and a retired registered nurse from Dr. John Yousts office, and the widow of Carl D. Gibson. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, C. Daniel Jr. and Sharon W. Gibson, Goodview; two granddaughters, Cynthia Gibson and Catherine Gibson. Funeral services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 1993, with the Rev. Charles Watkins officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
