OBIT BARLOW, EDGAR HOWARD

BARLOW, Edgar Howard ("Fly"), 43, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 1993. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junius and Gladys Barlow; and two brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Tonya B. Price, and Betty L. Harris; one son, Travis J. Harris, all of Roanoke; three sisters, Frances (Harvey) Aims, Shackleford, Va., Sandra (Melvin) Reed, Manisfield, Ohio, Sara Powell, Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Marie Barlow and Patunia Barlow; one grandson; stepmother, Dorothy Barlow, Norfolk, Va.; three stepsisters, Rachel Lynch; one stepbrother; two uncles; a devoted companion, Jackie Johnson, Roanoke; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Antonio D. Thomas officiating, assisted by Rev. Marvin Fields. Interment will be in Willliams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
