OBIT HILL, THOMAS EDGAR
HILL, Thomas Edgar, 72, of Lexington, died Saturday, April 3, 1993, at his residence. Born November 28, 1920, in Linden, Ala., he was the son of the late James P. and Nellie Dixon Hill. He was a member of Collierstown Baptist Church, and was retired from Burlington Industries after 18 years service. Surviving are his wife, Wauline G. Hill, Lexington; one daughter, Elaine Hill Hall, Lexington; three sons, Dennis K. Hill of St. Petersburg, Fla., Thomas R. Hill of Lexington and Kevin B. Hill of Scranton, Pa.; two sisters, Irene Tucker of Sweetwater, Ala., Corene Flowers of Linden, Ala.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Lexington First Air Crew. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
