OBIT STEELE, ELIZABETH

STEELE, Elizabeth ("Lula"), 78, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, April 3, 1993, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born in Rockbridge County on May 9, 1914. She attended Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was a member of the Rockbridge Area Senior Citizens. She was married to Charles Bernie Steele who died October 2, 1982. She is survived by two dear friends, Frances Fields and Peggy Fitzgerald, both of Buena Vista. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at Lomax Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ballard Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 8 on Monday night. Lomax Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
