3 ARRESTED IN WYTHE SAFE THEFT

Two adults and a juvenile have been charged with larceny and breaking and entering in the theft of a safe in the Stoney Fork area of Wythe County.

The Sheriff's Department has charged David Absher, 19, and Mike Gross, 18, both of Richlands.

A safe with its contents was reported missing along with other items Thursday evening in a break-in, a department spokesman said. Investigation began to search for a white pickup truck seen in the area. The vehicle was located in Tazewell.

The safe, its contents and the other items were recovered. - Southwest bureau
